From St-Andrews to Buckingham Palace - Kate Middleton fashion story...

Who would have thought this pretty little girl from Berkshire Catherine Elizabeth Middleton- born to a middle class family on the 9th of January 1982 would snag herself a prince!

From the humble beginnings of St Andrews where she met our famous prince, Kate studied History of Art and graduated with a 2:1 degree. Beauty and brains is a perfect symbol for any future queen. What stands out for Kate is not only her captivating beauty but her personal fashion statements. Kate worked as a fashion accessory buyer for Jigsaw in 2006 and has featured on several best dressed lists.

It all started with a dress, as it has been acclaimed that the dress worn by Kate Middleton at university during a 'Don't Walk' charity catwalk show- as featured below, designed by Charlotte Todd was the magic that endeared the future King to this beauty. Today we are counting down hours to the moment Prince William makes Kate his princess. This dress worth only £3o at the time is today said to be worth around £10,000.

Talking about dressing for the job you want, Kate easily endeared herself to the royal family as her wardrobe choices were all too befitting for the royals. The simple regal suits, pastels, hats and a demure poise, Kate chose styles that flattered her amazing slim frame and styles that made her one to reckon with in the fashion world.

Kate appealed to the British public by exuding simplicity in her style - twice seen pictured in her Diesel jeans, she also cuts out an edgy personality in the leather Jacket/skinnies combo.

Kate wasn't afraid to show other humorous side to her, as she appeared in a pair of neon yellow hotpants and green sequins halter neck top for a charity roller disco.

One of the most anticipated moment of the big day -must be what Kate would be wearing and who the designer would be. I'm wondering, if like Princess Diana she would be looking to break the record of longest train, going longer than - Diana 25- foot train designed by Elizabeth and David Emanuel. Although I expect her to go for a much more modern look to appeal to the new generation. David Emanuel - believes the Divine beauty of Kate Middleton would be best showcased in Lace other than taffeta/silk to flatter her amazing silhouette.

So would Kate be turning to David Emanuel the welsh designer best known for designing Princess Diana's wedding gown or would she be turning to one of her favourite designers Daniella Helayel, creator of 'Issa' from Brazil...who designed the outfit she wore to announce her Engagement to Prince William.

Other dresses by Issa worn by Kate Middleton over the years.

Or would Kate be wanting a home grown British designer.

Who ever Kate chooses, the world will be watching, we will be watching to capture the true essence of our new generation princess through fashion..

Kate has surely come a long way as she is seen below on her last visit to St Andrew's where she met her prince, looking more stylish and regal than ever....Now this is what we call an Education!
